(A declaration adopted by the 68th Annual Conference of the American Missionary Alliance Church, translated from the 1986 Handbook.)
1. I believe in the one true God, infinite and perfect, eternal in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2. I believe that Jesus Christ is a divine and human being, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the unrighteous, so that all who believe in Him may be justified by His shed blood. According to the Bible, he rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Most High as our high priest. He will come again to establish a kingdom of righteousness and peace.
3. I believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person who is sent to live in the hearts of believers to guide, teach and empower them; and to convict people of sin, righteousness and judgment.
4. I believe that the original books of the Old and New Testaments are free of error and are inspired by God word for word. They are the complete revelation of God’s will to redeem mankind and are the only standard of faith and behavior set by God.
5. I believe that man was created in the image of God and fell because of his disobedience to God, resulting in the death of both soul and body. Every person has an innate sinful nature and is separated from the life of God. The only way to be saved is through the redemption of the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who does not repent and believe will end up in eternal pain, while anyone who believes will enjoy eternal bliss.
6. I believe that Jesus Christ has prepared salvation for mankind, so that all who repent and believe can be reborn by the Holy Spirit, receive eternal life, and become children of God.
7. I believe that it is the will of God that all who believe in Him be filled with the Holy Spirit, wholly sanctified, separated from the world and sin, and consecrated themselves to do the will of God; thereby they will be empowered to live a holy life and to serve effectively. “This is the spiritual transformation and growth experience of believers after they repent.”
8. I believe in the great work of salvation of the Lord Jesus, including the healing of the body. Anointing the sick with oil and praying for them is the teaching of the Bible and is also the right of the church in this age.
9. I believe that the church is composed of all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed by the Lord’s precious blood, and are reborn by the Holy Spirit. The Church has Christ as its head and receives from him the ministry to bear witness to all the world, to preach the gospel to all nations. The local church is a group of local Christians who come together to worship, be edified by the Word of the Lord, pray together, fellowship with one another, preach the gospel, and administer the sacraments, namely baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
10. I believe that both the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected bodily, the former to life, the latter to condemnation.
11. I believe that the Lord will come again at any time. This is a concrete and visible fact, and that He will come again before the millennium. This is the blessed hope of believers and an important truth, which motivates believers to live holy lives and serve faithfully.

一、我信獨一的真神，爲無限完全，聖父、聖子、聖靈三位一體永存之神。
二、我信耶穌基督有神、人兩性，由聖靈感孕，爲童貞女馬利亞所生。他是義者爲不義者死在十字架上，成爲代贖祭，叫一切信他的因他流血而得稱義。他照著聖經所載，從死裏復活，今坐在至高全能者右邊，成爲我們的大祭司，並要再來設立公義與平安的國度。
三、我信聖靈是神聖的位格，奉差遣住在信徒心內，指引教導加力量給他們；又叫世人爲罪、爲義、爲審判、自己責備自己。
四、我信新舊約聖經原卷全無錯誤，且是神逐字逐句所默示的，爲神救贖人類旨意的完整啓示，且是神所定信仰與行爲之唯一準繩。
五、我信人是照神的形象而造，因違背神而墮落，招致靈魂與身體的死亡。每一個人都具有與生俱來的罪性，與神生命隔絕，唯一救法乃借主耶穌基督救贖大功。凡不悔改不相信者，其結局就是落在永遠有感受的痛苦中，凡相信者必承受永遠的福樂。
六、我信耶穌基督爲人類預備了救恩，叫一切悔改相信的人，得蒙聖靈重生，接受永生，並成爲神的兒女。
七、我信神的旨意是叫一切信他的人，得蒙聖靈充滿，全然成聖，從世界及罪惡中分別出來，並獻上自己遵行神旨；因而得著能力，過聖潔的生活及作有效的事奉。「這是信徒悔改以後，靈命的轉機及長進的經驗。」
八、我信主耶穌救贖大功，包括身體可得醫治。爲病人抹油及祈禱是聖經的教導，也是這時代中教會的權利。
九、我信教會是一切信主耶穌基督、蒙主寶血救贖、蒙聖靈重生之人所組成。教會以基督爲元首，並從他接受往普天下作見證的職事，向萬邦傳福音。地方教會是當地基督徒聯合起來，舉行崇拜，借著主道得蒙造就，一同禱告，彼此交接，傳揚福音，並施行聖禮，即浸禮與聖餐的團體。
十、我信義者和不義者都將會身體復活，前者復活得生，後者復活定罪。
十一、我信主必隨時再來，是具體的、可見的事實，並在千禧年前再來。這是信徒有福的盼望，也是重要的真理，因此激勵信徒過聖潔的生活，及忠心的事奉。
