DCAC response to COVIA-19 – 03/05/2020

The CDC announced that the COVID-19 spread in the U.S. is a “not if but when” situation and cautioned us to “prepare ourselves.” DCAC cares for everyone’s health and safety; in addition to encouraging everyone to prepare at the personal and family level, our response to the announcement and the current situation is given below:

Our elders, pastors, and ministry directors will meet on March 10 to discuss further measures if Michigan encounters the spread of COVID-19, so that we can “prepare ourselves” to continue to provide spiritual care and the expansion of joyful community in new ways. When we have any new updates or decisions, we will inform DCAC brothers and sisters promptly.

In the meantime, as we continue to have meetings in the DCAC building, we will install hand sanitizer dispensers and frequently disinfect surfaces, especially in the children’s area, door handles, and high traffic areas.

Please pray for the above two things, asking God to guide us to continue to provide a loving and a safe place for God’s people and, no matter how the virus spreads, that we will have God’s peace and wisdom to respond proactively.
